A closing in turn

On Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th of June, the Law-Economy-Management library will be open while the Health library and the Science and Philosophy library will be closed for inventory.
On Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th of June, the Health library and the Sciences and Philosophy library will be open while the Law-Economy-Management library will be closed for inventory.

Students from all disciplines, you are welcome in the open library·ies.

Opening times from 9am to 5pm..

Friday 28th of June: the three libraries will be closed to deal with the outcome  of the inventory and organize the annual meeting of the service.

Why inventory the collections?

The inventory allows us to find decommissioned books, to locate missing documents, more generally to have an accurate image of the collections that we put at your disposal. This operation is carried out every year.

Why close libraries?

The inventory requires several days of closure. It is a noisy activity: all documents in the room are "bleeped", moved, organized...
It's also a long activity!
This year, the Law-Economy-Management library and the Sciences and Philosophy library will inventory more than 40,000 documents each. In the Health library, all open access documents,  30,000, will be processed.
