On 2021 October 1st, all three university libraries will be open until 10 pm. This is new for the BU Beaulieu: this extension of opening hours for this library is a test: it will only be renewed in 2022 if it is successful.

The extended opening hours are reserved for students, teachers and staff of the Université de Rennes 1, Rennes 2 university, EHESP, ENS, ENSCR, INSA Rennes and Sciences Po Rennes.

Timetable

For whom?

The extended opening hours are reserved for students, teachers and staff of :

  • the Université de Rennes 1 and Rennes 2 university
  • partner schools: ENSCR, ENS Rennes, Sciences Po Rennes, INSA Rennes and EHESP

Your booking, as well as your student or professional card, are checked during the extended opening hours.

External users, whether or not they are registered members of the library, can't access the libraries during extended opening hours.

What are these rooms for?

  • Work on your lessons
  • Surfing the internet using wifi
  • Using the computers available in the opened rooms
  • Consulting the documents available on the spot

Although they are located within the libraries, the rooms open in extended hours are above all work spaces. No library services are available — you cannot borrow or return documents, nor photocopy or print anything.
