Laptops

2 laptops are available for use within the library.

Laptops can be borrowed at the welcome desk for half day, in exchange for your student or library card.

Calculator

A Casio FC-200V calculator is available for use within the library.

It can be borrowed at the welcome desk for half day, in exchange for your student or library card.

Group work rooms

12 group work rooms are available without prior booking, on the ground floor and first floor. They feature white boards (marker pens are available at the welcome desk) and electric sockets.

20 individual carrels are available on the first floor, under the same conditions.

Video projector

Group work room 041 (ground floor, second group work room) features a video projector.
A table in the room is reserved for groups using the video projector.
You can use your own laptop or one of the laptops loaned by the UL.
A VGA cable is available at the welcome desk.
To enable everyone to use the video projector, its use is limited to one half day per group.

Marker pens and erasers

Marker pen and eraser sets are available for the group work room boards.

They are loaned out from the welcome desk, in exchange for your student or library card.

Headphones

Two sets of headphones are available.

They are loaned out from the welcome desk, in exchange for your student or library card.

Book Drop Box

Our book drop box allow library users to return their items to the library after normal business hours. The drop box is located outside the main entrance to the Science and Philosophy Library.

 

Opening hours:

  • Monday to Friday, after 7pm until 8:45am,
  • On weekends from Saturday 5:30pm on.

The drop box is collected and emptied at the start of each day the library is open from Monday to Saturday. Materials are verified and checked in on the morning the drop box is opened. Items put in the drop box after business hours will be backdated to the previous business day. You remain responsible for the items until they are returned to the library.

Please note:

  • If the outside drop box is full, please do not force items into the box as its drawer gets automatically locked up.
  • During long vacations, the drop box may not be available due to its limited capacity.
  • If the drop box is full or locked, please keep your library items, do not leave them outside the box.
  • Any overdue materials returned in the drop box will be subject to the regular fine.
